5 Things To Focus On For Big Profits In 2010!
2010 is here and if you aren’t making the kind of money that you want to be making, then it’s time to make some changes!
Below I have listed 5 things that you should focus on that almost guarantee you will make more money if you implement them.
1)Building your list.
This is a no-brainer. If you build and nuture the relationship with your list, then you make more money. It doesnt get much easier then that.
If you don’t have an opt-in list, then start one, send some content mixed in with sales offers (more content then offers) and build the hell out of it!
Your own opt-in list is like your own money printing machine!
2)Set up automated systems.
Something else that you should be focusing on is automation.
The Internet business model provides us with the ability to incorporate a lot of automation to do a lot of the hard work for us which is a huge advantage over other types of businesses.
Whenever you find something in your business that works, automate it and move on to find something else that works. This is an easy way to grow your business.
3) Your business model.
What does your business model look like? Do you even have one? Or are you just bouncing from program to program trying to get something to stick?
Make sure you are actually building a business, and not starting something brand new every few months when the current fad fades out.
If “flavor of the month” style marketing isn’t making you money, maybe it’s time to build a real business online that you can work on, and build up.
4 ) Product development
I have to say, out of all people I know that are making big money online, the majority of them are very prolific product creators.
Sure, some of them aren’t and do make a killing promoting other people’s products. But it seems the easier trend to make big money online comes with having your own diverse product line.
The real money comes from the diversity. Have a lead in offer for cheap (under $50), then a mid range offer, a high ticket item ($500+) and add in some continuity and you’re all set!
I know it’s easier said then done, but in most cases, it’s going to be quite hard for you to consistently make big money promoting other people products. Sure, you can do it in spurts, but the real money comes from having affiliates work for you, not you working as an affiliate.
5)Building your network..
Building your network of business friends is incredibly important for success.
A lot of people just think this is for joint ventures. I meet you, we become friends and promote each others’ products, make money- it’s a win-win, right?
Well that is true, but there is much more you can get out of a good business relationship then just a joint venture. There is also a mastermind group.
Everybody in your closely knit network is basically part of your mastermind group (one that you don’t have to pay $10-20k per year to be a part of as well). These are people that you can bounce your ideas off of, get help from, ask questions, share secrets, etc..
Another huge benefit is that you can get connected to their network as well. If you make a friend in your market who has more experience then you, he/she may have tons of other friends in the same market who can promote for you, program, strategize, and do a ton of other things for you to help your business.
Your network of friends has huge potential for your business growth, and you should always try to focus on expanding it whenever possible.
Start shifting focus to these 5 business builders and I am positive you will increase profits!

Hey Wes!
The blog looks great and your first post rocks. Just added you on Twitter and am looking forward to following you this year.

Hi Wes,
I’ve always enjoyed your post and have bought some of your special reports from time to time. I love buying “How-To” information and have been producing it for the business sector since 1998. The business sector pays a lot more than the private sector for the same info, believe it or not! Anyway, I’m glad to have found this blog and will be putting it in “My Favorites.” Have a prosperous 2010!

very timely post.I cant wait to see your next article.Im new to this field and still learning.
Hit the nail on the head with all these Wes. Number #1 for me has been list building…everything after that comes pretty easily. I think for me this year, the big one I’ll be working on is to build my network. I think I can bring something to the table to help other marketers. Stuart Stirling
